We are looking in purchasing our own Drum Equipment in the next few months. We are going to need everyone in the ensemble and their parents support to make this happen. The 2009 Northern Alliance are looking to improve our look for 2009. This will start with major changes at every phase of the organization. If anyone knows of ways to help with this plan. Every Sunday Afternoon 12 till 5pm practice times will change due to performance schedule.

We will be making a necessary change in the way we do things in the next few weeks. Each member will have to pay a monthly membership fee in order to assure the things the group needs to stay operational. This fee will be a low cost fee that each member will have to pay. We have in the pass pretty much let each member play for free. With the economy changing, so must the groups policies.

We are currently working on our 2009 Board of Directors and things are looking really good for us. We will need everyone’s help in getting our family and friends involved with supporting The Northern Alliance Percussion 2009 ensemble.

Our rehearsals will be moving to Portland over the summer this will start in two weeks. So, after this Sundays rehearsal we will be moving our rehearsal location.

We are looking for anyone in the organization that knows of ways to raise money for equipment. We need to now work on a strong support team, for The Northern Alliance in 2009″ If anyone would like to volunteer sometime to help us out. Please contact us at northernall@yahoo.com or 503-443-5842.

We are looking for several Sponsors, or different ways to approach providing funds for The Northern Alliance Organization this season. We are pleased to have a really nice “Quality of Sound” starting to develop with the 2009 Drumline. In order for us to compete this spring season.
