"Check out our Facebook page its up now" The Northern Alliance Percussion music Arts program, was founded by Darwin Eagleton in 2003, has a Non-Profit 501(C)3 Corporation based out of Portland, Oregon, and the SW Washington area. The Northern Alliance Percussion has performed all over the West Coast. In our first annual season we were using 3 area High schools. The group competed in the Northwest Marching Band Circuit in every season as a Independent Drum line placing first in their class at three of the local Winter Drumline shows. Members vary in all age ranges each year and we are a all age Drum Corps organization. Mission Statement We want to bring music and the performing arts to our communities to help connect to our youth with culture through a common language crossing generational, social, and racial barriers. The activity that any person pursues influences the type of person he or she becomes. The experience that comes with participation in a performing arts organization builds discipline, character, pride, and self-confidence at a crucial age and forms the spring board to even greater achievements in adulthood. The Northern Alliance Percussion Drum Corps permanently enrichs the lives of young people through a commitment to youth development and performance excellence while providing enjoyment for our local communities. The group has a very talented staff every year, and with a few additions this year we hope to see great changes ahead for the 2010 season. The staff is devoted to providing the performers of our program a healthy and safe environment which allows them to enhance their social skills,communication capabilities,a sense of responsibility and commitment, and discipline. These are the primary lessons the staff of The Northern Alliance Percussion wish to instill in the members of our organization. We are a Non-Profit Youth Group, that hopes to help schools and young adults in and around our communities.
